NLPL is hosting their new “Love Our Local Authors” showcase from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 24 and some of our Boulder authors will be making an appearance!
Join Devilfish author Jenny Higgins from 10:30-11:00 AM to hear all about our long history with giant squid here in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Later from 2:00-2:30 PM join Heather Barrett and Xaiver Campbell to hear about their book, Black Harbour: Slavery and the Forgotten Histories of Black People in Newfoundland and Labrador.
And Susan Pynn Taylor, author of A Very Silly (Wet and Wooly) Beach Rock Band, will be reading during a local authors storytime hosted by the A.C. Hunter Children’s Library.
