Join Marjorie Doyle, author of Mary Foley, Mary Doyle: Unravelling A Mother’s Secrets at Sparks Literary Festival.

Sparks takes place on Saturday April 25 to Sunday April 26 at Gushue Hall on Memorial Campus. Sparks is free to attend. You can attend as many sessions as you like. Free parking is available in Lot 11. Books are available for sale.

Marjorie Doyle has published five books of non fiction as well as many columns and pieces in literary journals, newspapers, and magazines. She has worked as a regional and national broadcaster with CBC radio. She is a former chair of the Writers’ Union of Canada. As a musician she was the first female member of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band. 

SPARKS is a one-of-a-kind literary festival in St. John’s that brings together emerging and established local writers, alongside visiting authors, for readings and lively discussions. Free and open to all—no tickets or registration required!
