A gifted storyteller with warmth, humour, and insight, Heather brings a deep understanding of the stories that shape this province and the people who leave, return, and redefine it.
Heather is also the author of The Mill Girls, a fascinating and deeply entertaining exploration of the young Newfoundland women who left for Ontario textile mills in the 1940s, transforming communities and quietly challenging expectations long before feminism had a name.
